Raumaster Group, founded in 1984 in Rauma, Finland, is a world-class provider of advanced material handling systems for a wide range of industries including energy, pulp, paper and board, and wood handling as well as comprehensive service solutions, always tailored to the customers' needs. With decades of expertise, we design and deliver innovative, reliable, and sustainable solutions that improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Our journey so far

Raumaster Oy was established by five engineers – Jukka Ruohola, Kauko Einälä, Juhani Rasilainen, Esko Saarela, and Jouko Mäkilä. Since day one, we have remained privately owned, with ownership now including second- and third-generation family members alongside original founders.

As a privately owned company, we enjoy the independence that enables swift decision-making and long-term thinking. This freedom gives us the flexibility and agility to drive innovation and deliver tailored solutions for our customers. In 2022, Jarkko Ruohola, son of founder Jukka Ruohola, became Chair of the Board, continuing our tradition of family-led leadership.

From a simple idea to a global presence. What began over 40 years ago as a small engineering office has today grown into a world-class technology group with nearly 500 professionals and more than 3,500 projects delivered across six continents. Complete wood handling systems from log receiving and debarking to chipping, screening and storage
Automated solutions for safe and efficient paper and board finishing systems, including vertical conveyors, up-enders, and wrapping lines
Warehouse and storage solutions including smart, integrated solutions for storage and logistics in paper and board mills
