Representative Days Strengthen the Shared Raumaster Spirit
Raumaster’s agents gathered in Rauma in mid-April. 17 representatives from all over the world attended. These agents serve as Raumaster’s local points of contact for the customers, assisting both in sales and throughout the lifecycle of projects. They ensure high‑quality, comprehensive service by working locally and understanding regional practices and daily operations.
Over the two days, various events were organised, including presentations on projects, product development, and market situations by both Raumaster's own personnel and the agents. Joint sessions were held at Raumaster's headquarters, the meeting rooms of Scandic Hotel Rauma, and in the seaside setting of Marina Vista. There were also visits to the Sampaanala workshop and warehouse, as well as to the facilities and operations of Raumaster Paper’s Pori unit and the affiliated company Ketjurauma.
“We organise these representative days at regular intervals; the previous ones were held two years ago in Helsinki. This year, we decided to host the event in Raumaster's hometown of Rauma, and we also renewed certain aspects and content. Based on the feedback received from the representatives, these changes were considered successful,” says Petri Lounasaho, Manager of Raumaster’s Wood Handling Division and Energy External Division.
At the end of two intensive and rewarding days, the group traveled by train to Helsinki to participate in the Pulp & Beyond exhibition. In connection with the fair, various training sessions were also organised for the new representatives.
“It is always great to see how these agent days create a sense of 'We,' or the 'Raumaster spirit.' While we learn about different markets and their operating methods, we also become more familiar with one another. This is extremely important, as we are one big family with a common goal: to succeed together. These events strengthen that even further,” says Lounasaho.
