Customised Design for Every Customer

Raumaster designs and supplies fly ash handling systems that are adapted to each customer’s specific requirements.

Scope of Supply Includes:

  • Additive feeding systems

  • Ash collection systems

  • Particle recirculation systems

  • Pneumatic conveying systems

  • Fly ash silos

  • Dry and wet discharge systems

Additive Material Dosing and Feeding

Raumaster’s additive material feeding devices are designed for precise and reliable dosing of various materials in demanding industrial processes. The systems typically include a screw feeder for accurate dosing and lean phase pneumatic conveying technology to ensure continuous feeding. Each feeding system is optimized to match the specific properties of the materials being handled. The systems are available in multiple sizes, with the correct configuration selected based on process capacity requirements. Additive material feeding solutions are commonly used, for example, to reduce emissions in flue gas treatment or wastewater handling with materials such as activated carbon, sodium bicarbonate, hydrated lime and sulphur.

For additive storage, Raumaster offers silos in various sizes and big bag stations to ensure safe and efficient material handling.

End Product Handling

System Configuration

A complete system typically includes:

  • Ash collection equipment located beneath the filter

  • A conveying line to the silo, either pneumatic or mechanical

  • The storage silo

  • A silo unloading system, available in both dry and wet configurations

Conveying

Raumaster’s pneumatic conveyor is a highly reliable and cost-effective solution for transferring fly ash from filters to storage silos. Raumaster’s long-standing expertise in pneumatic conveying ensures equipment that is properly designed and professionally manufactured.

Storaging

Due to fly ash fine particle size and frictional properties, fly ash can cause significant challenges in processing systems if they are not carefully engineered.

Raumaster’s storage silo solutions effectively address these issues. With extensive expertise, Raumaster ensures the selection of the most suitable silo and equipment type for each material.

 Unloading

Raumaster has extensive expertise in silo unloading equipment for both fly ash and bottom ash.

Special attention is given to preventing dusting issues with dry ash.

Silos can be supplied with wet unloading equipment, dry unloading equipment, or a combination of both, depending on customer requirements.

Efficient Fly Ash Humidification

The Raumaster FAH humidifier transforms fly ash unloading from a difficult, dusty task into a clean and efficient process. Achieving the correct mixing ratio between ash and water is essential, and with Raumaster’s design, adjustment is simple and reliable. For added convenience, the humidifier can be equipped with an automatic cleaning system, reducing manual labor and saving valuable time.

Particle Recirculation Equipment

Raumaster’s particle recirculation equipment are designed to boost separation efficiency while reducing additive powder costs, particularly under high recycle rates.

By minimising the need for fresh additive powder injection, the equipment provides reliable handling of large recycle volumes.

Thanks to Raumaster’s technology, the recirculated particles are humidified and distributed uniformly into the flue gas stream, ensuring stable performance and optimised operation.

The system itself consists of three essential components: ash collection equipment beneath the filter, a recirculation dosing unit, and a humidification system.
