The Göteborg Energi power plant project has been selected as one of the three safest working environments in Sweden. The selection was made by the occupational safety organization Håll Nollan, and the ranking is based on the joint occupational safety efforts of Göteborg Energi, Valmet, Veidekke, and Raumaster.

Raumaster Oy was founded on April 29, 1984, in Rauma. Over the past four decades, the five-man engineering office has grown into a market leader employing over 400 people, supplying material handling systems for all industries worldwide.

Raumaster’s agents gathered in Rauma in mid-April. They serve as Raumaster’s local points of contact for the customers, assisting both in sales and throughout the lifecycle of projects. A winder that had been in operation for only two years was repurchased by Raumaster Paper after a Finnish board mill was closed in summer 2025. The winder was first transferred to Raumaster Paper’s assembly hall, where it is now being modified to suit the requirements of its future owner.

Raumaster Paper’s loading systems have transformed the handling of rolls, pulp bales, timber and sea containers – making operations safer, more efficient and significantly more environmentally responsible. Increasingly complex customer needs continue to drive new innovations.

Tarmo Lehtonen, who works as a Senior Automation Engineer at Raumaster, has performed thousands of gigs over a career spanning more than 50 years. This year, the versatile part‑time musician took part in recording a full‑length album – an undertaking Raumaster was proud to support.

Raumaster Paper successfully delivered a comprehensive roll wrapping line, along with core handling and broke roll handling systems, for the new paper machine at Mondi Group’s Štětí mill in the Czech Republic.
